Today and yesterday was our towns Renessance Fair. There was almost no one there when we showed up. Sad really. Poor thing keeps getting smaller and smaller every year. We didnt stay long. We watched a juggler, some belly dancers, and some slid of hand magic tricks. The "magic" was definatly the best part. The two that were doing it where really funny, and even when they messed up it was still very entertaining. Going was kind of a last minute idea, and I forgot the camera, but like i said, there wasnt a ton to look at anyway.
Attys favorite part of course... was the walk through the park to get there. She LOVED seeing the ducks in the river and people walking thier dogs. There was also an owl, hawk, and raven at the fair that some ladies brought down. Atty loved that a lot.
Afterward my mom got out a big puzzle and she, Atty and I sat and did that for a few hours. We are nearly done with it. :p Not bad for rusty puzzle doers like our selves. It was a really fun day.
My dad who had an emergency appendix removal last month is going back to work tomorrow. And like him, my mother and I are also 'going back to work' it is time to buckle down and get our book galleys finished. I have 2 chapters I need to write for an anthology collection we are submitting in a few weeks, and need to work on some of my indvidual stuff as well. Busy busy busy. :)

Blog Goals
Very soon I will be setting up a side bar for the books I am currently reading. The books will take the clicker straight to Amazon so that if the clicker wants, they can read reviews, read an excerb, or even buy the book. Over time I hope to make a little money off of this blog, and I feel that is a decent way to start.
I am really getting into reading non-fiction as of late. An enjoyment that for me has come with age. I never read non-fiction as a child. But latly I can't get enough of it. In particlar I am very intrested in Homemaking Skill books, Homeschooling books, Homesteading Books, Arts and Crafts books, History Books, and Religious books targeted toward women.
I hope my few (but awsome) readers that I have will enjoy the book reviews here and there. :)
Of course I have already mentioned starting an Authors Blog of my own to link to, but that will come a little later this month or next.
I will be adding more pictures as well. I love pictures! I love taking them and looking at them. You havent seen any pictures on my blog lately because my camera broke. BUT My mother doesnt mind me using hers, and so I will. ;)
I hope to have my blog up and running on a regular basis. I want it to be a comforting place for women of all ages to come and see that, even though life isn't always daisys and honeycomb, doesn't mean it can't be beautiful and fullfilling. In short, your going to get a lot of babble that means a lot to me. ;) Enjoy!

Well, Hello Blog Land!
I'm back! And that declaration finds me sitting in my dads computer room, in what is obviously my parents house. Yes, we are back with my parents... again! This is the second time we have moved in with my parents, our first stay was nine months. This round is going on four months. We will likely be here for AT LEAST another four months as my husband is trying to get in with the police department, but can't try for that untill later in October, and then his accedemy won't be untill January. If that plan fails, DH will be going to college instead.
I was working at KFC from early July to late Ausgust, I got a total of four pay checks. It helped us pay my dad back the money he lent us, and it re-enforced our decision of keeping the woman at home. While I was working our daughter developed a few bad habits, and once I came home they nearly all ceased. I can't say I will never work out side the home again, but I can say that it is better for us that I don't unless we need me to. Which, of course it's nice to know that your beliefs are tried and true.
Lets see, the baby girl is quickly approaching her third birthday! She will be Three at the end of November. She wants to be a Choo Choo Train for Halloween, and wants a Mermaid birthday party, but her pinata has to be a bug because, well you hit pinatas, and you hit bugs... makes sense right? I love her logic. :D
We have been really bad about eatting out lately and that combined with working at a VERY greasy fast food restruant has been horrible on my weight. I have gained another ten pounds since moving in with my parents putting my weight at 163lbs. I have decided to start the Couch Potato to 5K program tomorrow. So hopefully that helps. Another thing Im looking into is 'Eating Clean' which really goes right a long with my hopes of homesteading.
Speaking of homesteading, I have a new favorite book called Backyard Homesteading. It talks about transforming your own back yard (and front yard) into a homestead. All you need is a quarter acer, and you can have fruit/nut trees, a garden, home grown herbs, wheat/ other grains, honey bees, chickens, and maybe even a pig. Its also talk s about canning, preserving, baking, and all kinds of things. REALLY great book. I borrowed mine from the library, and I will be asking for it for Christmas so I can have my own copy.
Also, the book I co wrote with my mother will be out around Christmas time! I will be starting a side blog eventually specifically to talk about my writing, both Christian, and other wise. :D
